um hi i saw your tip to lumysaara on his page so do you mind telling me whether pastel pencils are common everywhere else( as in a normal stationery shop) and is it at a reasonable price? i recently bought soft pastels and they're freaking expensive so i'm really nervous using them since i don't know how to properly....=) thx=)

Hey, sorry for my late reply I haven't been around much last month at deviantart. Pastel pencils can differ great in their quality and softnes. You can buy harders pastels as well as very soft ones.The difference in quality (higher quality = mostly higher price)is directly related to the brightness of the colours in your drawings.
If you can work with charcoal U will love the opportunities of the pastel pencils. U use them just like charcoal. Just start experimenting ! Good luck!!!
